I have lived on the Buckland Estate for 63 years and have served as a Buckland Councillor since 1988 apart for 2 years, 2007 and 2008.  I also served on Haccombe and Coombe Parish Council for 3 years. 

I was Mayor of Newton Abbot for the year 1992/93.  I have over the years campaigned for the bridge over the A380, the Doctors Surgery, Chemist and the paddling pool which was in Sandringham Park.  I have also been Chairman of Buckland Community Centre since 1988 apart from 1 year, I will always try to represent the people of Buckland and Newton Abbot to the best of my ability.

I am currently Deputy Mayor of Newton Abbot and one third of the Booze Brothers. 

For the last 7 years I have been the Chairman of the Carnival Committee which raises funds for local charities in the area.
