Newton Abbot Carnival 2019

This year’s Newton Abbot Town Carnival is fast approaching with a week full of family events, something to cater for everyone.  The carnival week is full of a number of events from band concerts in Courtenay Park, a quiz night, duck race, tractor pull, Tea Dance, Bingo, Fun Run and the carnival procession. We are also pleased to confirm that Redrow (West Country) has been secured for another year as our main carnival float sponsor with Newton Abbot Rotary secured as another big sponsor again. The carnival has also been supported by a number of other local businesses/persons either financially or with services in kind, they include Newton Abbot Town Council, Recreational Trust, Harrier, Panache, Best Accountancy, Danceworks Devon, Teignbridge Propellers, Tesco, Ashfords Fruit & Veg and Andrew Hill.

Mike Ryan Carnival Chairman said ‘I would like to thank all of the carnival sponsors this year as without their support the running of the carnival would not be possible. We are looking for even more walking entries this year, entry is free and there are cash prizes to be won, entry forms can be found on the website or please call the Town Hall. We are looking forward to the week and hope to see you there at the events planned.”
